Two storey ruined fortress preserves a fortified outline through platforms, broken stone walls and towers with irregular contours. Part of Ruined Town, the model can identify an important location within a destroyed settlement rather than simply another damaged house. The changing heights help distinguish the surviving structure from the space that has disappeared.

The main photograph shows the complete assembled set with a painted example. Another view presents the separate sections and the distribution of levels, helping you examine the composition before planning your scene. Landscape placed around the model in the presentation is not included.

The fortress might be a campaign destination, the remains of a former centre of defence or the location where an expedition expects to find evidence of the settlement’s past. Determine which areas the encounter uses and make them reachable for the players. Any effect of the walls, platforms or towers on movement and sightlines should follow the chosen rules.

Available scales are 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm, with 28 mm selected initially. Supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the stone relief and broken edges offer contrasting surfaces for shade and highlights. A unified masonry palette can connect the separate sections, while heavier wear on exposed areas reinforces the story of a ruined stronghold.
