Post apocalyptic desert shack terrain gives a survivors’ settlement a building assembled from contrasting surfaces. Plank walls and sheet metal form the exterior, with an upper storey and a sloping roof that has a deteriorated appearance. Its documented dimensions are 148 × 214 × 130 mm.

The main image shows the complete building with a painted finish. Use the shack in a desert settlement, a small community of survivors or an abandoned part of a campaign landscape. The scenery and background elements in the photograph are presentation references and are not included with the building.

Its uneven surfaces can help suggest a place shaped by repairs and reuse, without fixing the history of its occupants. A meeting, a search or a return to a familiar address can give the structure a role in your story. Plan the approaches and the space needed for miniatures, then agree the relevant access and cover effects according to your rules.

Choose 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 or 35 mm, with 28 mm as the initial option. The shack is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Aged timber, oxidised metal and dusty tones can separate the materials represented on the walls. Carrying the ground colour onto the lower areas will help the building belong to the desert rather than appearing newly placed within it.
