Tulipa alien spikes emerge from irregular bases as ridged, organically shaped formations. Their sharp crests and changing curves create a varied profile across the set rather than a uniform line of identical points. The main image shows the complete models unpainted, and the additional views help you examine the relief on each design.

They can surround a zone of infestation, accompany larger biological structures or break up an otherwise open alien battlefield. Consider whether they should blend with the ground as native growth or stand apart as a more recent intrusion. That visual choice can reinforce the scenario before any miniatures reach the area.

The available scales are 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm; the default is 28 mm. Choosing a scale that relates to your collection helps the formations sit naturally beside existing terrain. Arrange them so the routes required by your encounter remain practical, and decide any effects on movement, sightlines or cover through the rules you use.

Each piece is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. You can carry earth colours up from the bases or reserve a contrasting palette for the ridges. Shadows between the organic volumes and lighter edges along the sharp crests will help the different forms remain distinguishable when the set is viewed across a busy science-fiction table.
