Tavern bar terrain creates a gathering point for an inn, a fantasy tavern or another interior where characters stop to talk. Straight and curved bar sections are accompanied by stools, letting the furniture define the shape of the scene rather than serving only as background decoration.

Our photographs show the assembled set as well as its separate pieces. Those views help you plan how the counter sits within a room and where customers or staff might stand. Miniatures shown in the images are scale references and are not included with the furniture. Consider the access players will need to their own models when laying out the interior.

A bar can become the location of an introduction, a conversation that starts a quest or a familiar stop between expeditions. Changing the arrangement of the furniture can give a different establishment its own layout while keeping the same fantasy atmosphere. Any effect on movement, cover or sightlines should follow your chosen rules and the agreement of the players.

Select from 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 and 35 mm scales, with 28 mm selected by default. The set arrives unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Finish the sections in colours that suit the surrounding inn, then use highlights and shadows to make the counter and stools stand out as the room’s social centre.
