Fantasy sphinx statue terrain provides a landmark for an ancient temple, a necropolis or a journey into the remains of a forgotten civilisation. The design combines an Egyptian-inspired head with a decorated base, giving the statue a clear identity within a fantasy scene.

Its place in the story is yours to choose. Beside an entrance, it can mark the boundary of a sacred area; within a ruined complex, it can become the object that travellers have been sent to find. A campaign might return to the same statue as the characters discover more about the people who placed it there. None of those narrative roles requires special rules built into the model.

The available catalogue composition shows complete representations of the design. Use it to consider how the figure and base will sit among your other terrain. A shared stone palette can connect it with nearby structures, while a contrasting treatment of the decorated areas can draw attention to the statue itself. Leave enough space around its position for the miniatures involved in the encounter.

This physical model is supplied unpainted, ready to prime and paint. Select 10, 15, 20, 28, 32 or 35 mm to suit your collection; the default is 28 mm. Your own painting choices will determine whether it feels like a surviving monument, a rediscovered relic or the focus of a new place of worship.
