Aeran III guard post gives a science-fiction scene a location associated with surveillance and access. The Guard Post model belongs to Nimoan Protectorate and can sit within a settlement, beside an approach or as part of a more isolated installation. Its purpose becomes clearer through the terrain you place around it.

A checkpoint, a patrol’s destination or a place where information changes hands can each provide the basis for an encounter. The same model can support a frontier diorama in which the surrounding landscape explains why a guard position is needed. Choose the story that connects the location with the people and events of your campaign.

Nearby buildings and routes can make the post one part of a wider facility rather than a disconnected objective. Leave the areas relevant to miniatures reachable and decide how the game treats the location’s role before play. Movement, sightlines and any control conditions should follow the rules you use, not an assumed ability attached to the model.

The default scale is 28 mm, with further options available through the selector. Delivered unpainted, ready to prime and paint, the guard post can share colours with your existing settlement terrain. A different amount of wear can distinguish a maintained checkpoint from a remote position, while retaining the same architectural context across your miniature scenes.
